Margret Campbell | Board Member
Margret Campbell is a member of the Dunghutti & Djerrinja people.
Initially employed at Murawina Pre School, Redfern, as a Bus Driver in 1974. Margret went on to train as a Kindergarten Infants Teacher graduating in 1979. During this period, Margret was one of the founding members of the most notable community based education service – the NSW Aboriginal Education Consultative Group. She held the Governance position of Vice President during the ground breaking consultations across NSW to produce the historical first Aboriginal Education Policy 1982. in 2014, Margret’s positive attitude and skill capability is grounded in a can do approach. As an Elder role model she is a successful Aboriginal Business owner – entrepreneur in EORA Country, Managing DreamTime Southern X products and services across the Australian Tourism Industry. Margret’s contributions in building the modern EORA in these industries over 40 years using the skills, abilities and positive attitudes she has acquired, is an immeasurable asset.
